Freedom Plane National Tour

The National Archives presents a traveling exhibition bringing seven original Founding-era documents to eight U.S. cities in commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary in 2026.
Inspired by the Bicentennial Freedom Train, the Freedom Plane National Tour makes documents fundamental to America’s founding accessible to communities across the country, offering a rare opportunity to experience these historic records up close as the nation reflects on 250 years of independence.
The Freedom Plane will make a stop at the Houston Museum of Natural Science from May 8 – May 25, 2026.
