Celebrating America 250: The Weapons, Fighters, and Tactics of the American Revolution
In recognition of America 250, the Spellman Museum of Forney History is hosting an exhibit coordinated by board member Bill Crawley which includes authentic antique weapons from the Revolutionary period plus handcrafted replicas of other weapons and accessories. Descriptions of the weapons plus key figures are included. The exhibit will remain on display through July 10th during the museum’s open hours and is suitable for all ages. A presentation and discussion led by Bill Crawley titled “Weapons, Fighters, and Tactics of the Revolution” that provides for depth and context is scheduled for Saturday, June 27th.
