Palestine, TX is celebrating America’s 250th birthday in a big way. Join us July 3-4, 2026 for America 250: A Star-Spangled Jubilee, two days of activities, music, and good old-fashioned fun.
July 3 brings live music from Detroit Steel, food trucks, vendors, and fireworks. July 4 moves to Old Town Palestine, TX for a parade, festival, a kids bicycle decorating contest, pie contest, car show with The Journey HQ, plus historic stories and reenactments inside the historic Anderson County Courthouse.

July 3rd events will be at 5300 TX-256 Loop. July 4th events will be at the Anderson County Courthouse located at 500 N Church St. and along E. Crawford St. in Old Town Palestine. A parade route and event map will be shared prior to the event.
