The 19th century, particularly the Victorian era, saw a range of food oddities, driven by both culinary trends, military operations and the realities of poverty. Some notable examples include, pemmican, aspic, celery and molasses, to name a few. Join us as we look at how our ancestors ate. You might be pleasantly surprised or disgusted! It could be both.
