LCpl. Benjamin W. Schmidt Symposium on War, Conflict, and Society

Join the Texas Christian University History Department for the 2026 Schmidt Symposium, focused on “America’s Revolutionary War.” The symposium will begin on Friday evening with a keynote address, followed by a day of panel discussions on Saturday featuring scholars and historians exploring the key issues and legacies of the war. All events are free and open to the public. More information will become available on TCU’s website throughout the fall.
