Join living history interpreters for a celebration of America’s unique and multicultural food history from the Republic of Texas era. Stop by the Kreische house for a campfire cooking demonstration using recipes recorded during the Dawson and Mier Expeditions. Smell the delicious ingredients of our Thomas Jefferson Green and Company stew, and learn some of the history of foodways on-the-go for long journeys in the early 19th century.
