“Timeline of Texas 1598-1846”

Join the Texas Society DAR for an engaging series exploring Texas history and historical fiction from Texas Before the Lone Star. Designed especially for home-schooled students, these interactive sessions will feature timelines, maps of Texas, and compelling stories that bring the past to life.

Topics include:

  • Stephen F. Austin & The Old Three Hundred
  • Texas Independence
  • The American Revolution
  • The roles of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT)
  • The Texas America 250 Reading Challenge

Students will gain a deeper understanding of Texas’ role in the broader American story through storytelling, discussion, and hands-on learning.
