Come to the Lorenzo de Zavala State Archives and Library Building next to the Texas Capitol and view a 50-minute showing of excerpts from Ken Burns’ film The American Revolution, focusing on military history. About the series: Thirteen American colonies unite in rebellion, win an eight-year war to secure their independence, and establish a new form of government that would inspire democratic movements at home and around the globe.
