Businesses in Mineola have been asked to decorate their windows and/or storefronts in honor of the semiquincentennial. The winner will receive a gift basket that will include “A Culinary Journey Through Texas History – A Texas Historic Sites Cookbook,” published by the Texas Historic Commission, among other things.
